Mark Making has been a integral part of many Painters, most notably Australia Artists John Olsen and John Wolseley. This workshop is all about experimenting and taking risks.  It is process.  Expectations and outcome will be left at the door!  By focusing on different ways of making marks you can tap into unexpected magic.  Think painting with sticks and leaves and using natural found pigments.

We will be tapping into the beautiful surrounds of Atelier 34 so get ready for some solid time in nature!

MATERIALS INCLUDED: Ink, acrylic paint, charcoal, gel medium, shellac and turps, mixed media papers, fabric and masking tape.

If you could bring: Secateurs or scissors and old clothes so you can get messy
